Previous Name: Mick Rory (Heat Wave)
Myth: Arrowverse
Past Life Information: When Mick was very young, he developed an obsession with fire that culminated in him accidentally burning his house down and killing his parents. The bad times kept on rolling from there, and he ended up on the criminal side of life, partnering with Leonard Snart, his best (and only) friend in juvie. Snart eventually got a very useful freeze gun and arranged for Mick to get a fire gun of his own. Mick loved that fire gun. A lot.
But unexpectedly, Mick and Snart ended up being recruited as Legends of Tomorrow, time-traveling misfits saving the world over and over again with no one really knowing. However, Mick adapted to the side of good less quickly than his friend, though, and ended up abandoned on his own. Yadda yadda yadda, he ended up a hunting the Legends as Chronos, then rejoining the band after Snart sacrificed himself for the sake of the team. He's never really recovered from that, even assuming he was hallucinating Snart at one point (it was a trick), but he's slowly become a trusted member of the team
Current Name: Irene Meaney
Age: 22
Occupation: Chef de partie (line cook), with aspirations to move up the chain of command
Personality: Irene's name means Peace, which was intentional but also so, so ill-fated. She's a bit hot headed and not here to make friends, basically. Even when she's trying to patient, she can be overly blunt all too often and isn't the most popular person around. But she's also got a dry sense of humor if you care to stick around, and a key eye for detail. She's a hard worker and thick-skinned, and though she hasn't had a serious relationship yet, she'd be a ride-or-die girlfriend.
Background: Irene and her older sister, Happy, are the children of a divorced couple (and are both adopted, but that's another can of forms). It wasn't an unhappy childhood by any means, but there was constant shuffling around between homes and lives, and Irene leaned heavily on his big sister for stability and support. Happy is her best friend, honestly, and as adults they live together.
School was never Irene's thing, and their free-spirit mom in particular encouraged alternate learning experiences, which included basic life skills like cooking. The first time she put meat on fire, Irene knew she'd found her calling, and she's worked in kitchens since she was fifteen. She's gone from chain restaurants to generic tourist traps to finally landing a good spot in a well-known French Quarter establishment. She's just a chef de partie now, but she loves it and is giving her career most of her focus right now.
